Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Poster: A snowHead
We're heading up into Val Thorens in early Jan, looking for transfers gva t Val.
4 going out, but 5 coming back...anyone know an amenable transfers company I can have the conversation with.
It's a Sunday transfer so I'm hoping to have a bit of choice..

Thanks

Iain

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Airbnb… Eh oh! we too have had Airbnb cancel our planned accommodation. No reason given - just a blunt email.

Could try the Coolbus for the transfers. I’ve found them really helpful.

Dunno how their prices are now for a shared transfer, but we used these

a lot before driving ourselves. Excellent service. We always went shared when 2 and private when 4.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Grenoble Airport is closer, but admittedly not much different for time. Ben's Bus might be an option.

@Strax, I've used this site 4 or 5 times to get from GVA to VT in the past few years:

https://www.findtransfers.com

You post your requirements, and then many different transfer companies will send their bids to the site. Often, their quotes will be lower than if you contact them direct — as they know they are in competition for your business. Always had great service and great, low prices. The website only charges the transfer companies a small percentage, and you pay the site nothing. A win-win all round.

The earlier you lodge your requirements, the lower the price will be in my experience.

Have a great time in VT — I visit it in early Jan for 2 weeks every year, and have always had amazing snow and a fab time. snowHead
