Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Getting a booster in Austria?

Any scope for this as a UK Citizen?
A mate heading to Austria from Romania shortly, planning on staying for a couple of months but only has his first two doses which were administered in the UK. Guess he may have to just nip back to UK otherwise.

I think there is scope for this, as there were people crossing the borders in the east to get vaccinated, and Austria doesn’t like to turn them away. I would contact the authority administering vaccines in the state he will be visiting, or the border state if he’s driving – a search for the state name and “Impfung” should bring them up – and explain that he doesn’t have an e-card/social security number for Austria.
