Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Geneva Airport Swiss Side to France - Covid paperwork

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi,

Had a dig through the forum and can't quite find the detail I am after.

I will be travelling to Geneva and onto French Alps in December. I will be hiring a car and unfortunately the flights do not line up with the limited car hire opening hours on French side so will be hiring on Swiss side.

From what i can work out I need to do the swiss covid arrival requirements anyway to get on the plane in UK. What I cant work out is if i need to also do the French paperwork as well. I know some of the mainland Europe countries have some agreements for cross border travel once there, Im assuming will also need to fill out any French paperwork as well? on the Geneva Airport there is some detail about transiting passengers not staying in Switzerland but not clear on the definition and that may be overuled by UK departure requirement to meet swiss rules anyway.

I think I may have answered my own question but pretty sure someone on here will have made this journey so can confirm!?

Thanks
