Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

The Orange AIM Ski & Snowboard Series is expanding again this year. It will now include six UK championship events – three indoor and three on artificial slopes. The new Braehead Xscape in Glasgow will join the list of existing and successfully tested venues: Rossendale, Castleford, Milton Keynes, Bracknell and Warmwell...

The Orange AIM Series dates:
· 28th July Xscape, Castleford: British Rail Jam session, plus Product Testing (Evening Session)
· 5th August Xscape, Milton Keynes: British Indoor Boarder/ Skiercross Championships, plus Slopestyle
· 19th August Xscape, Breahead, Glasgow: British Indoor Slopestyle Championships
· 2nd - 3rd September Bracknell Ski Centre: British Artificial Slopestyle Championships, plus Big Air
· 16th - 17th September Rossendale Ski Centre: British Artificial Boardecross / Skiercross Championships, plus Big Air
· 30th Sept - 1st Oct Dorset Snowsport Centre in Warmwell: British Artificial Big Air Championships, plus Quarterpipe

The AIM Series isn't only about competitions though. They have also developed a schools tour to spread the message about skiing and snowboarding. They are offering 1200 free 30-45 minute lessons to anyone. So, at each of the events there will be about 200 kids offered the chance to try snowboarding or skiing for the first time.
