Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi! Currently trying to organise quick trip to check the flat and stressing about how to arrange a covid test (with certificate) for the return to England. Does anyone know if I can get a test which meets the requirements for re-entry to the UK anywhere near Champagny? I'm thinking Bozel, Moutiers etc. If so, how do you organise this ? Do you book in advance or just turn up? Do they provide a certificate ? All advice gratefully received ......

@boulevardier, Look at Qured.
We ordered the test kit and booked a video appointment that suited us. It arrived as planned via DPD and we took it with us.

At the allotted time we were talked through the test via the video call and then sent a photo of the test slide with our passport 20 mins later. The fit to fly certificate was returned within the hour.

Similar to @muppet, we will be taking our tests with us using c19testing. I don't think they have a video element, just test and upload photo of test and passport, seems simple enough.

@boulevardier, We had friends staying in Champagny over winter who went to the clinic in Bozel for their test in April. They were on their way to Spain (driving down) at that point. I think it cost 15 euros for the test but I'm not sure what sort of test they had, however they said it was a fit to fly test.
They booked the test a couple of days in advance but probably worth checking with the clinic in Bozel.
