Hello - looking for instructors recommendations in La Thuile…during Xmas week need potentially half day lessons for 4 kids/ teens , intermediate level ( possibly two instructors as older kids are faster and won’t ski with the younger ones)..also my husband fancies trying ski touring if snow conditions allow. Have contacted the ski school but personal recommendations are always preferred

I did a half days' off piste guiding with a older chap (60s) called Davide who was a fully qualified mountain guide in a ski school based in a little hut just above the main terminus in the resort. Sorry, can't remember the name of the school. It was in a wooden building with the office on the second floor of the building, out on a little island in the slope. He was excellent so might fit your husband's ski touring ambitions.

I don't think you'll go far wrong in La Thuile. I get the impression people work there because they love the place.

Seems all ski schools start on Sundays
