Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Norfolk Broads, any tips?

@DrLawn, have a great time.

One of my all time (non-skiing, course!) fav holidays was on a narrow boat for a week. Not Norfolk Broads, but the Avon canal. Slow and peaceful, cheery and friendly. Mind you, that was 36 years ago! Can’t imagine things will have changed too much…

Hi Skids, Here I sit looking at the raindrops lashing at the windows.
We're in a boatyard at Potter Heigham and the weather is cold windy and wet.
Its even too wet to walk to the pub.
Tomorrow we set sail for Acle, perhaps the weather will be better.

@DrLawn, sounds a bit like our days back in May. Hope it cheers up tomorrow.

@DrLawn, I’m paddling Potter Heigham (well Martham) to Acle and back (plus a bit more) on Saturday.

Hope it dries up for you.

Hi @Pamski & @hammerite,
Yes Wednesday turned out to be a dry day after all that ...
We're tucked up in a boat yard in Wroxham tonight.

I must admit I can't remember a more stressful holiday.
But it does make you appreciate home Smile

The weather forecasts seem to be absolutely pants this year.
Have a great paddle Hammerite

Stress is sorted now thank you, we're tied up and safely back in Stalham.
I though we were going to be divorced earlier in the day.
But a cream tea over at Waxham Barn has made amends.
Curry Night in Stalham to roundoff this weeks holiday Smile

Enjoy the curry!! We were there last week for a good curry. Shame about the weather, we had similar last week but still went out and about and done everything we planned.

Thanks @jimmybog, I'm glad it worked out for you!
It was a pretty good curry .. I had to nip out to Tesco to get some drinks but I don't mind that, it saves a packet as well.
The Dansak could have been hotter, but we enjoyed it.

Its so good to be home .. we were grissling about our shower for the past few weeks, but it was pure bliss being able to do without all the phaaf of boat showers.

Feeling really cream crackered today...
Next stop Bournemouth with the Bowls club for a long weekend.

I've also just had it confirmed that I'm good to for a couple of weeks with a group at the end of January to "Gods Back Yard"
