Poster: A snowHead

Hi, has anyone stayed at the Eisfall Chalet in St Anton recently? We're going there next week and I would like to know if there are ski boot drying facilities, which would save me bringing my somewhat heavy driers with me. Thanks. I've read varying reviews of the chalet itself but it's very close to the lift!

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks, they're going to check and get back to me tomorrow so I'll share the answer here. Just spotted my misspelling of Facilities in the subject line!

Vic................ Here's a vastly easier solution. At day's end simply take a newspaper, any newspaper which are always readily available anywhere, require no 'lectricty, batteries and the like, take about six pages average per boot - more if possible, ball each one in hand and stuff - really stuff/cram each boot from toe to cuff. Leave to absorb for three hours which wicks away a solid 95% + moisture, remove all balls and leave to air out/residually dry till next a.m..............., your boots WILL be completely dry.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Thanks for the tip. My driers are the Dry Zone variety, rather than anything battery-operated, so they're not too much hassle. For information, the Eisfall Chalet does NOT have boot-driers. Thanks for the link to the live chat above as well.

Chalet Eisfall became modernized in the year 2019. We visited the chalet a second time for a one-week holiday in January 2020 The beds are very comfy (our room was airy sized with shower) - the house has a nice charm, simple but nice decorated with some information about St. Anton - with all you need for a perfect ski-holiday - the ultimative thing is: the location (10 Meter to the piste, 20 Meter to the lift, ski-shops, ski-school, etc.). we were lucky with our chalet-staff - they took care about the guests.
There is no TV in the rooms but Internet in the whole house. After skiing you can relax and come together with other chalet-guests in the sitting room and enjoy a drink. Once we walked to public wellness-center for a swim and sauna (only a 5 Minute stroll from the Chalet).
The house offers room for skis and boots.
All in all - if you don't need a high luxury accommodation but clean and charming and with an ultimate location and good price-performance I can highly recommend the Chalet Eisfall. We as a small family enjoyed St. Anton very much.
Cheers
Pete
