Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Recommended instructor in Mayrhofen

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
We head back out to the Hof on 26th March for a week and my wife would like to have a one to one lesson on the first day. She is a sixty something and has been skiing for most of her adult life, but probably not progressed since her last lesson 40 years ago. She is comfortable skiing pretty much anything in the morning but hates moguls or chopped up snow in the afternoon.

She hopes that improved technique will help reduce tiredness /confidence in the afternoon.

Can anyone recommend a suitable instructor in the Hof? Any thoughts?

I can't remember the names of my instructors but I've gone for one-off lessons with both these schools and got on well:

Die Roten Profis
https://www.skiproaustria.at/en/dsm/ski-pro-austria.html

Ski School 3000
https://www.mayrhofen3000.at/en/

It's different for everyone, but I find that if I go on my own the first day and get a lesson on the morning of the second, I've found my legs again by then and the instructor can get a more 'real' assessment of my ability.

Most of the instructors meet up above the Gondola at the Penken, depending on level. Early beginners sometimes go to the Ahorn instead.
