I've put some pictures on http://imgbb.com - it seems to work quickly and easily, gives a full image address on upload and works fine? I haven't tried to find photos after they've been up a while, and didn't notice any filing options, then again I haven't looked.
Edited to add: I just snuck off for a quick look - I've stuck up a few random shots as a guest, there's the option to sign up for an account so I guess all the options ould be there?)

If it's just for posting to the forum, as a super/mega-snowHead, you can upload them directly with a post => see the Blue Button.

Its been slowly drifiting down in S.London though most of the day too. Unfortunately, the grounds got so wet, my local sliding spot has a substantial lake at the foot of it so run-out could be a bit... summery. There was a photo of someone kayaking in it on Saturday.

It's tantalizing isn't it! There's snow in the air now but most of it seems to be drifting sideways and not coming down particularly fast.
I'm never normally able to ski in London as, when it snows, I'm inevitably away skiing - obviously it's not worth staying home just in case so the one year I'm being forced to, it would be nice to 'tick off' Primrose and Parliament hills |
Yes. I live right at the bottom of Parliament Hill. In 2010 I skied from the Kenwood House car park to the bottom of Parliament Hill. It had to be done. The paths were best (ie fastest) because the grass stuck up while the path snow had been trampled into a piste.
Never skied Primrose Hill. Which is better, or haven't you yet skied either? Still hoping the current slight fall will build up overnight...

@snowball, I've never skied either as I'm always away when they 'come into condition' but I'd assume Parliament to be better as it's far longer. But Primrose is just round the corner from me so it's got to be done!

DONT GET EXCITED, this was Parliament Hill 11 YEARS AGO
This may be the day I skied it. The day before (at the weekend) it had been dense with tobogganers, but I didn't think to take my camera. There was a TV camera crew, so I rushed home and got my skis to be on TV, but they had gone when I got back.

Yes, we're finding that even very short grass has long bits(!) - so needs a lot more cover than roads and paths

Fresh tracks at our local old quarry today - it was like the Vail Back Bowls...
We eventually skied the snow off in parts, down to the frozen soil underneath - but had an enjoyable ski.
Hoping for more snow & a repeat run tomorrow

Last time when it snowed in the Cambs, nada so far. |
Absolutely brilliant that ed48. Is it the highest point in Cambs? Maybe a black run could link to the top of the shed?

I just caught part of the 7pm Ch 4 News where they were reporting on skiers at Cairngorm (obviously no uplift but plenty of snow). I'll try to watch the whole report on Ch4 +1 from 8pm.

I took a hike up my local hill before sunrise this morning. East Lomond in Fife, a bit scoured at the top but an awesome ski back down to Falkland in deep snow, even in the trees

Falkland's a lovely place that we discovered on a very frosty gorge walk a year ago. Forgot the name of the gorge - great walk though.
