Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Buying trousers for next season - any good sales & returns if faulty

Although I've more or less given up on this season, I've been eyeing some of the SportPursuit sales for new ski pants (still have and using C&A pants!!!) - probably would want to go for a hardshell.

However I'm a bit nervous about buying trousers that I won't be using for over 6 months (which I understand is the point at which your customer rights for return of a faulty good expires).

What are your thoughts? Aside from checking every single inch of the pants for defects.

Also - any good sales aside from Sport Pursuit going on?

Surely you can check them over to your satisfaction as soon as you receive them ? I don't see the problem ?

Pretty much every retailer has sales on at the moment, then there's always ebay or Facebook selling pages.

Fair point - I guess the caution stems from the fact I'm generally adverse to buying clothes online in first place... PSS looks good, I'll have to have a browse - thanks!
