Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Blizzard Brahma 88 vs Volkl Kendo 88

I’m wondering if someone can give me some advice on the difference between these two skis. Will the Brahmas turn sharper than the Kendos?

I’m 155 lbs 23 years old and did a couple years of ski racing so I would say that I’m intermediate-expert. I really enjoy carving and spend most of my time on piste.

I was thinking of getting the Brahmas but am worried they may be too stiff.

Thanks

@Lucaben29, Welcome to SHs Happy (not quite sure why this is in the Disability section?) Anyway...

I skied Kendos some years ago and have Bonafides as my daily ski. I'm 60 kgs but I have done quite a lot of skiing.

I would guess that the Brahmas were a little stiffer but I'm not that sure you'd notice any difference, TBH. Kendos maybe a little more "agile". When we were testing I found the (then) Mantras a bit to squirrelly for my preference, my wife found the Bonafides a little too damped.

So extrapolating down a size, I'd imagine that Brahma/Kendo to reflect that. Maybe. Not sure if the Kendo got the same makeover that the Mantra did a couple of seasons ago though.

Ultimately, both good skis.
