Lovely stuff. You just don't get Daffy's and Back-Scratchers in todays slopestyle routines! I can still pull them out of the bag when required, especially when the ski pullover is deployed!

To be fair K2 are turning out some good skis this year. Mindbender 99 and 116 are nice - have only skied the 99.

Worst of all, no helmet, no goggles. And not a logo in sight. His skiwear must be rubbish. He's going to die of hypothermia after hitting one of those trees.
Well. Nothing to learn here. Maybe at après this guy can dance a bit, but his skiing's so old style, I've watched lots of Youtube technique videos and he has no idea how to ski.
I expect he never won anything.
He clearly needs lessons. Needs drills too. Learn to ski, for heaven's sake.
And no soundtrack. Rubbish video.

@DB, we were often cold & wet as kids - a lot of chips/hot chocolate stops to warm up. I think the improvement in clothes is even greater than skis.

For classic ski films look no further than Greg Stump productions with Scott Scmidt, Mike Hattrup, Glen Plake etc. Films entitled "The Blizzard of Aaahh's", Lincense to Thrill" etc.
Yes some lessons in style and elegance there something which is perhaps neglected today? If we think of skiing as a form of ‘dance’ then expression and style become more important. It’s not just getting down the mountain but how you get down it

You all know that skiing achieved its zenith with ski ballet back in the 80's. At no time before, nor since has skiing been more graceful, nor knees popped more efficiently.

Nearly right though.
Once upon a time in 3V the zip on my ski jacket broke.
My mate's girlfriend offered her spare thinking I'd got to say no.
I don't like to waste money.
So I skied the rest of the week in a bright shiny purple woman's one-piece.
It was great.
Except it was loose in bum area, tight at the crotch, waist and armpits, but plenty of room for the chest.
Not a lot of pockets.
I got a lot more smiles than usual from women in ski lifts that week.
I'm sure it was admiration and support.
My mate's girlfriend said only a man who was very confident of his sexuality would have dared.
So there.

Now I remember, PJ Proby used to wear something similar on stage.
Could have explained some of those more admiring smiles.
Right turn seemed a bit dodgy that week.
I remember thinking at the time it must be the equipment.
Now, there's something all these so-called analysis videos fail to mention.
And something even the more hands-on instructors don't want to get to grips with.
