Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

It looks as if people are already enjoying the new snow in the southern alps. It seems all you need is a tame piste basher driver.

I'm sure the clip of them being pushed along by the piste basher was only for a few meters for filming value. Just thinking of them falling over gives me a serious case of the heebie-Jeebies.

I'm still jealous as ever though. Really looking forward to being able to go skiing again sometime.

Snowy winter is fantastic! The most beautiful time of the year. You look at the fir trees in the snow and you want to return to childhood, wait for Santa. This is the most fabulous season for children.

I don't begrudge these people enjoying themselves and I have to admit being very envious. BUT the fact that they (and all the rest of the folks) are not wearing masks in the piste basher cab is the reason why the rest of us are sitting at home waiting out the second and third waves of the fuuucking Covid lockdowns.
We all have a responsibility here.

Here was me thinking a nice video about some skiers enjoying the fresh snow would be the perfect antidote to all the doom and gloom on most of the other threads. Maybe I should have known better. Very Happy

To anyone who’s been following the recent snowfall in Alta Badia and avidly watching the webcams (guilty as charged) it’s pretty obvious that the snow around the Moritz bar is from the historic snow fall of last weekend.

If anyone wants proof, really?, then they can go and do their own research.

Definately from last weekend snowfall. Even the Late October and November mega falls in the last few years didn't manage to bury the mortizino with so much snow
