Poster: A snowHead

I thought I'd pass this on.
My sister booked and paid for five tickets to New York for her family in February. They were due to go at half term (October)
She has health condition meaning she is vulnerable to Covid.
She cancelled the flights.
Citizens advice were brilliant. They worded a letter for her that the airline had a 'duty of care' for her health and safety and was, therefore, obliged to give her a full refund for her tickets, which they did.
I was quite surprised, its a lot of money and the airline is almost bankrupt.
Hope this is useful to somebody

You can't travel to the USA from the UK unless you are a US citizen or there are exceptional circumstances.

it's not about the passport you hold, it's where you have spent the 14 days prior to travel. The US government website is remarkably helpful on the topic. Look under Covid travel restrictions - Presidential proclamations.
