Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Parking in La Tania

Is there any secure parking available in La Tania? Looking to book new year and drive to cut down the risk. If no secure / underground parking, where is the best place to park from the alternatives?

If I remember correctly there is definitely 1 large open car park (I think 2) that are free. They aren't covered or anything. I don't remember seeing anything underground or covered by happy to be corrected.

I only recall one large car park and yes it was free, and yes it was open air. The chalet we booked into also allowed us to park in their driveway, which required a degree of skill (on a steep slope) and some moving around to accommodate other guests. All good fun.

There's a 3 storey underground car park under the tourist office. Most of the spaces belong to the P&V Britania and Christiania residences but with P&V pulling out of La Tania I don't know if they are still controlling them on a weekly basis or if they've been returned to the apartment owners. In any case, I'm fairly sure that the tourist office also control some spaces and you should be able to rent one through them. Call +33 (0) 479 084040
