You're better off traction wise with a GW sole. Look are doing replacement GW AFD's as spare parts for the Pivots for 19/20. I have some on order which are due in the Autumn.

Yep. There's two versions, one for the P18's and another for the P12/14's.

Good to know, so modifying on the binding side is the way to go

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but I have a closely related question!
I've got some Head Kore 2 Boots with the GripWalk soles. My old skis have Salomon STH2 WTR 13 bindings which were fitted for boots with a BSL of 337mm. The Kore 2's BSL is 345mm. According to this chart https://www.evo.com/guides/ski-boot-sole-binding-compatibility the WTR bindings should be compatible with the GripWalk soles, is that correct? Also do the bindings have enough play in them for a boot 8mm longer?
Many thanks!

The STH2 WTR toe is compatible with alpine, WTR & GW soles. The only sole that won't work with it is a full ISO 6523 touring soles. However the toe height will need re-adjusting to suit your new GW sole. And yes, assuming that the jig length was correctly set on the original mount, the heel will lengthen sufficiently to fit your new boot - just make sure the forward pressure is correct.
