Yes. There was the initial hype start of 2020 but nothing else after that. There was uber in Vancouver before but the city kicked it out. No mention of using uber for a whistler transfer inc skis.

@WASHOUT, was working when I left in March for sure , cheap and efficient from airport to downtown, but think they are limited to metro Vancouver therefore no good for Whistler transfers

There are a bunch of companies offering really competitively priced transfers between the airport and Whistler. For example skylynx run multiple buses per day direct from the airport to Whistler for $30 return.
Even if Uber is running, I don't know how easy it will be to find a driver. It's like a 4 hour round trip, they are not going to get a return fare, and if you have skis you will be limited in choice of cars. It seems like a complicated expensive option.

I have used the shuttle bus and a private transfer to whistler before but just considering all options for a group of 5.

I used Uber in Vancouver in Feb and it was pretty poor compared to London, took 20 mins to get a car from Kitsano Patagonia store for the airport.

Whatever you do DO NOT get a stretch limo which are sometimes available at a decent price. My parents went with some friends who insisted on booking one, against my advice and said it was the most uncomfortable experience ever on the Sea 2 Sky (pre Olympics upgrade).
