In 2020 EasyJet did their bags for 99p promotion. Was this a one off, or have they done these periodically in the past?
Also do EasyJet increase their charge for hold bags and ski bags through the year? I have pulled the trigger on some flights for December but haven't added hold bags yet. Wondering if it is safe or even beneficial to leave several months.

99p promotion was in reaction to Covid I think, not seen it before, or since. From memory I think bag prices do go up a bit, but not to the extent Ryanair do it!

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Never noticed bag charges going up, abs have often had to add extra at short notice. Interested in real examples of this!

I have noticed differences on different routes on the 23kg bags. The sports equipment seems a fixed price

Also note EJ website generally well designed but horrible in respect of adding bags - very weird process for getting different bags for different passengers on different legs in same group booking….

It is a bit odd having just navigated it. There seem quite a few points and stages where you can effectively add a bag that it can get a bit confusing.
Sadly Aer Lingus too have now gone down this route of effectively charging for a large carry on if you buy the cheapest fare.

I can absolutely confirm bag prices on my flights BOH to GVA are going up.
Now £29.xx for 23kg bags vs £25.xx when I took the screenshot 12th March
£23 vs £20 for the 15kg bags
