top drawer production standards.... and skiing . Went to the Faction premiere in london last night - more of a 'traditional' movie, but in 8 separate sections, each with their own spirit - not too dissimilar to the above, but with more skiers... always good to get stoked for the new season! (altho wifey wants some pink Factions now....)
Weirdly, just seen this on Twitter from someone I follow. Glorious stuff, and would give Thovex a run for his money.

That was very, very silly indeed. Splendid!

You can see the strong influence on the skiing style and filming creativity

Wow, that's awesome.
So if you're just off somewhere snowy come back and post a snow report of your own and we'll all love you very much

Watched it, enjoyed it, reminded if the days when you went to watch the Warren Miller films in prep for the season
Otherwise you'll just go on seeing the one name:

Yeah, me too
Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

Have to say I am not acquainted with almost anything in the film except snow and mountains. It was an amazing watch, and my serious bunny hops over a few small moguls can’t quite compete
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

This was just something else, so fluid and at times reminded me of Candide, was truly something special this edit - only when I got through it the second time did I realise it was 10mins long - just went by so quick!
@hamilton, you should be careful that Jerry doesn't try and seduce her with his skis - he was on form last night
Some serious local knowledge required for the jumps through glacier ice fall sections and over the bergschrunds, as there could have easily been ‘nothing’ under where he was landing.
As with the Candide videos, death or serious injury, centimetres away in several places.

Crikey, not bad at all. Presumably he learned all he knows on a bash?

The first section on glacier is Zermatt, the tunnel is Arolla (I think) and piste/park stuff and the rest (I think) is around Klausberg where he’s from

Yeah, cool video - my kids loved it!
Marcus Eder definitely has Candide like qualities.
Proper all rounder. Unusual for a big dude to look so smooth on skis.
Another skier that I like from modern era is Sam Kuch:

The "Ultimate Run" 1958, all done with ancient kit....Note - hanging from a lift and dropping down from it, was done over 60 years before Markus Eder did similar:
