Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Chamonix 2021

Looking at going to Chamonix this winter coming. Not fixed for dates. Looking for others that would like to share accomodation. Open to driving or flying. Also interested in finding ski partners.

About me: I Am a confident off-piste skier. Looking to tick off vallee blanche and do at least 1 day touring on argentiere glacier. No other plans yet. Will be my first time in the area, so would be happy to get a guide if necessary ,I have all my Avi equipment and training).

Enjoy our little ski area. Beware Chamonix is affected more by holiday season than elsewhere (As in the infrastructure can't cope), so plan your trip accordingly. A car can be a real asset if conditions are less than stellar or you just want some more "normal" skiing as there are plenty of nearby options that just don't "work" by public transport

Update. I got a deal on an apartment, and booked for the start of feb. Looking for 1 or 2 more people that would like to share. Think I will drive down so can offer a ride for anyone interested.
