Has anyone experience the PDS at Christmas? As a general opinion what are snow conditions usually like? And is Morzine heaving? Tia

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

I`m sure you`ll get plenty of responses. My own experience is that Morzine is very 'iffy' at Xmas, and although its fairly easy to get high, ie to Avoriaz, it gets very, very busy.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Doesn’t always have snow in the village but it’s usually open (I can only remember one year it wasn’t) and Les Gets and Avoriaz are easily linked. Busy but not heaving, lots going on and you can still get tables in restaurants. The week after is carnage.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

It varies. We have had some great years and some poor ones (based in Chatel). The extra altitude over Morzine makes a difference.
Always been able to ski but sometimes got wet.
Good fun in the village with Vin Chaud, Pere Noel up by the lake and absolutely no H&S (burning torches, horse drawn sleigh, lake a metre away). Adds to the excitement!

Xmas week was wet low down for the last 2. Stay high if you can.
