Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

@Caspar, hope there's no lingering damage (aside from your beacon)?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Yeah, I've had a couple of dealings with Pieps and that always go beyond what is expected.

@mgrolf, the head was fine after a week or so (have replaced my helmet too), I’m still working on the finger I dislocated tho.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

@Caspar, doesn't sound good, I hope it won't stop you avoiding trees next year.

@mgrolf, should be ok - I’ve been practicing walking between them all summer. Am hoping that will translate to skiing between them next year...

Reviving this thread to report another good experience. Pieps DSP Sport beacon, 3 years old, acting up on search this season. Sent back for service (due anyway at 3 years) a few weeks ago, with a note explaining the problem. Just received a brand new replacement free of charge. Cost to me, just the postage to send the original unit back (no service fee). Another happy bunny.
