Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Suggestions for short trip near to Geneva

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Right, so I've booked flights to and from Geneva, Tuesday 17th - Friday 20th March for just a couple of days actually on the slopes and am interested in suggestions of where to head using bus / train / shuttle (but not rented car).

In the last 2 years, I've already been to Chamonix, Le Grand-Bornand / La Clusaz, Portes du Soleil, Verbier, Zermatt, Megeve / Saint Gervais so am looking for somewhere other than any of those that makes reasonable sense to head to from Geneva.

Any thoughts people?!

How about Les Coches in the Paradiski area?

Ice and Fire have a few chalet spaces left for those dates and there are regular buses from Geneva to Aime (nearest town) and they can pick you up from there. . .

Thanks for all the suggestions and apologies for not returning to the thread until now.

I forgot to mention that I'd also been to Flaine 2 years ago and was still hoping to get away for a week when the Grand Massif options would be more likely to come into play.

However, Leysin and Fiesch (along with Wengen which I stumbled on when looking for the latter on Google Maps) look more like what I had in mind for a couple of days... assuming I even bother to go.

Got a lot of painting I could be getting on with and still not entirely sure whether flights / travel next week will be a good idea. Still, gives me some stuff to look at so thanks again Little Angel

Glad I held off booking anything other than flight without luggage.
