Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Female skier looking for ski buddy(s) in Whistler, Feb 2020

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hello,

(Upper) intermediate skier here coming from Japan to Whistler, from 7th-14th Feb. Unfortunately my friend is no longer able to join me so I will be travelling there solo. Never skied alone before so this is quite a daunting experience.. Would be happy to meet anyone of all ages!

Don't worry I speak fluent English Smile

Not over there this year, but do consider the free locals guiding service from the light boards on each mountain. Get sorted in to levels and you may find some people you are happy to ski with too for the rest of the time.
Have fun

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks for the reply Jake43! Do you know where I can get more info on the free locals guiding service? I don't remember seeing any by the light boards in the village last time I went...

@chiha888, This is the WB page https://www.whistlerblackcomb.com/explore-the-resort/activities-and-events/winter-activities/free-mountain-tours.aspx?tc_1=3

It is also mentioned in this Telegraph report (which has other useful stuff in) https://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/ski/resort-guides/Whistler-piste-guide/

Hope that helps. The mountains are huge so have fun.

The light boards, to meet, are outside Rendevous (Blackcomb) and Roundhouse (Whistler) not the one in the village !
