Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Uller goggle reviews

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi All,

I'm new to snowHeads.

I'm looking to buy some new ski goggles as lost mine last year. I quite like the look of Uller Helix goggles, but i can't find any reviews for them online. Does any know why this is? Does anyone here have these goggles? Does anyone have a better alternative of these for around £100?

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Spam? Unknown brand least in UK/N America so almost anything else including the mighty Aldi and Lidl would be recommended above them

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Ha! Thanks for the reply. Found them on a website called sportpursuit.com. I think they are a Spanish brand. Guess i'll steer clear.

I've been using Summit Goggles for the past couple of seasons - small UK brand with reasonable prces for goggles that have magnetic, interchangeable lenses. Worth looking at

@GoblinGoblin, Are you planning on using goggles all the time with a helmet etc. Or just when conditions are bad?

Well, since you asked, Smith I/o chromapop on sportpursuit for £99. If you're in no rush, you can pick them up from amazon for far less. Includes 2 lenses.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

The Smiths on Sportpursuit are great goggles. 2 lenses etc. Do you have a link to where they are cheaper on Amazon?

Been a Smith user for a few years, got some chromapop lenses for trip to BC last year, and the yellow storm lens was used for all but one day, great in snow and flat light.

Definitely look at googles that have changeable lenses and come with a second lens, they will come with a low light lens and a bright light lens and there are a phew options for your price point. I will put another vote in for Smith goggles, i have a set of the £99 smith I/O's.

@endoman, no link now. When I said, 'no rush', I was thinking August. That's when I picked up a pair of the magnetic for my son for 65. I must have bought my pair in March but that was from Glissop for 85.
SnoodlesMcFlude says he paid 36 via amazon for his. No guarantees these prices will be repeated of course, £99 is still a steal if you need them this season.

Thanks for all the messages. Really couldn't stretch to the I/Os, though might regret it. Should have bought these in the summer really rolling eyes Went for the Summit Xpose II in the end with 15% off. Will probably end up losing them again this season Laughing
