Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski campervan sites in Sierra Nevada Spain?

 Poster: A snowHead

Hi we’ll be in the Sierra Nevada area mid Feb in a campervan and we’d like a comfortable campsite as my hubby doesn’t ski. Preferably near a bus or train route up to the ski lifts. Does anyone know of one?

May well be one in the resort. But further down there will be some and then comes one of the big failings. when I last researched the bus service from Granada is poor, two or three a day and does not go from the centre of the city but from the bus station. Best thing is probably to drive up and down each day as required - excellent access road with great views. It may be possible to drive to a bus stop, if any, on the route. Hopefully someone else will have better info/good ideas.

Thanks that’s a useful resource.
Has anyone tried any of the smaller Spanish results like Panticosa?

@poppyb, I learned to ski in Panticosa on a cheap TO package well over 30 years ago (under £200 for 2 weeks). Great little place, complete with livestock being herded through the centre of the village. I went back on a couple of other occasions, but again many years ago. I think it has expanded since those days.
