Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Early start to 06/07 season

Poster: A snowHead
I've no chance of getting away now before the end of the season - work commitments have screwed it all up!

So I am thinking of next season.

I have plans in the pipline for March next year, but I want to think about a long weekend as early in the season as is sensible.

Am thinking of flight out Thursday, ski Fri/Sat/Sun and then back Sunday night/Monday

Anyone got any ideas? Puzzled

Cheers

Have a look at the PSB thread in snowEvents, last weekend of October in Les Deux Alpes.

easiski, I see you have a lot to answer for!

When do you think the details for this will be ironed out? Is it a long weekend kind of thing?

Les Deux Alpes is certainly somewhere I would like to ski and I reckon I could rope a mate in to share a twin.

Now I have two trips to look forward to! Razz

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

kosciosco, there isn't much to be ironed out really. You could come for all 10 days or only the 4 that most snowHeads came for last year. I will check out lift pass prices etc nearer te time but last we we paid around 22 euros each per day, the hotel was around 25 euros each sharing B & B, and the ski hire was discounted (can't remember what) if you used the SKi Extreme shop. Ski testing was better organised than previously, so you could, in theory, get away with just testing and not renting. I'll ask Cathy how much when I get a moment (but am waiting until after the EOSB). Most peeps flew to Grenoble via Sleezy on the same flight and I organised a coach both ways - cost around 50 euros per head A/R. Cool Cool Cool LDA isn't very expensive for the size, but in October it's pot luck how much you can ski. Last year we were stuck with the August skiing, I've twice been able to get to 2,600 and once all the way down to town. rolling eyes
