Poster: A snowHead

Yeah! We have decided not to bring our own skis in January. That will save all kinds of hassles. But now we need some recommendations for shops to check out in Corvara or La Villa in the Dolomites.
Does anybody have experience with this?

We always just rent skis and boots from the Corvara ski school. It's not particularly cheap, is anywhere in Corvara? but it's very convenient and hassle free being next to the Boe gondola. They also have ski lockers which makes life very easy at the start and end of the day.

If you are staying near the Col Alt bubble — old part of village - then Sport Alfredo is excellent.

Earlier this year we used Sport Kostner Rental in Corvara. Had very good quality equipment fronm them. Managed to get a discount using AlpinResorts as well. The rental shop is also quite large with lots of staff, which is very handy when its busy. We didnt need lockers, thus renting from near the gondolas was not a neccessity for us.

There’s a ski hire shop under the main lift in La Villa - go round the back and down the stairs. They let you leave your kit in the shop overnight so no faffing carrying it there & back each day. Can’t remember the name of the shop though.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.
