Stephen - several people have complained about this but some have said that my forum (check here http://www.skicardiff.com/forum/ )
which uses the same software is fine. Can you check there and let me know the outcome? I haven't had time to look into this yet but some sites use nesting tables to re-size the screen whilst others use a "screen size sniffer". There are probably other cunning ways as well. I don't see why it should be different on this site to mine though.
What browser are you using and what is your screen res.?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I have a similar problem, but it's probably the least of my many problems.

As a matter of interest guys if you click on your "Profile" at the top of this page and scroll down to the "Board Style" entry, you will find an option to change it to "Snoweater". Would you mind trying that and seeing if it makes any difference?
Thanks

got it. It's because the image is wide, and the cell containing

has "nowrap"specified.

snoweater doesn;t cause the same problem because the font is smaller. it's bloody ugly though and I have a nice wide screen so I'll stick with sub0silver thank you very much

The problem on this site seems to be the snow mountain logo on the top left. That together with the title on the right is just to wide for smaller screens. Without the logo the site adjusts nicely to 800x600 (well, as nice as it is possible with a small screen like that).

Sorry folks, I knew all this last night but was just too wasted to sort it out so I selfishly went to bed instead
¦-)zzzz
snoweater is a mess because I was using it to experiment with - use it at your own risk
I'll get on it today.

I brought my home pc back to life last night and I had the same problem. (Work pc is fine)... I needed to download some display drivers (not related to this issue) after coz of the new configuration I had to adjust the screen area size in the display properties: Right click desktop -> active desktop -> customize desktop -> click on settings tab and and ajust the slider bar in the screen area size. move it towards more so display on your screen is smaller.. that should sort itout.
Not sure if thats the reason some of you are having this problem... but at least you can workaround it.

Your username is now no longer forced to be next to "log out" and instead wraps to the line underneath

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.
