I have learned a valuable lesson. We are going away for Easter (Friday 14 April to Monday 17 April). We were trying to get the direct flight from Glasgow Prestwick to Milan Bergamo. Kept looking and the prices were astronomical. Looked again last Friday afternoon at work (still £400 for 2 people). Had a look, from home on Friday night and the prices were right down (£138 for 2 people). So, I am off to Gressoney on Friday afternoon and will manage to have 2 full days skiing.
I think you have to keep watching Ryanair's site. I couldn't believe it.

How far is Gressoney from Bergamo? You could be in Passo Tonale in 1.5 hrs by car

Gressoney is about 2½ - 3 hours. My other half is from Gressoney, so that is why we are going there.
