When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Well, I paid the remaining balance for our chalet trip yesterday evening.
So today is the getting excited part where I still staring at webcams and predicting snowfall.

Also putting xmas decorations up this weekend, so hopefully in a better mood than I was yesterday.
Plus my new Oven has arrived with all the bells & whistles to play with. So going to be making Gingerbread decorations for the tree & maybe cook a slow roast pork knuckle.
My 20litres of Wine I am making purely for mulling over the festive month has finished fermenting, so I need to transfer to a secondary & finally it's the 3 months mark since my home made Gin & Whiskey had Sloes added to it & ready for tasting Toofy Grin

So for lots of reasons, this weekend I am excited about.

On the downer, I need to go to a wedding in Santorini in Sept. + hoping to go to one of Wales Euro Champs matches, so going to be losing a ski week later in the season as I dont have enough annual leave entitlement Sad

Our ski holiday last year was an absolute disaster of Injury and Illness. We’ve felt it was unfinished business so are going back. The closer it’s getting, the more I’m thinking about it, I’m not sure whether I’m looking forward to it or not!!

Balance paid here too for Feb and looking at tunnel prices for an Easter trip too. Just ordered some new gloves with some birthday money, getting very excited. Very Happy

Not so much excited, but yesterday mutting walking in frosty weather started the thoughts, ordered Wonga too as good rate.

Flights, truck, accommodation and most lift tickets sorted so mainly waiting for it to arrive.
