This week on my Instagram feed I have had different adverts from Arcteryx "Shops" offering Arc'teryx Jackets at amazing discounts e.g.Alpha SV Jacket reduced from £621.24 to £80.78 !!! (@jacket.goerstore.com)
There are various sites but they all say "we are a business to customer online factory" and are based in the USA.
This just seems, to an old cynic like me, too good to be true ?
Any thoughts much appreciated !

Probably. People try and shift all sorts of crap on Instagram because it can be hard to figure out who it is and where it's coming from. That said, I can't find it from your description – you got an actual link (break it if you don't want to send them traffic)?

@brnttptr, There have been Arcteryx fake sites for years, the same happens for other premium brands such as Oakley, to such an extent that they are known as Fakely’s.
Anything more than about 25-30% discount should ring alarm bells, unless the item is strange colour or size.

Too bad to be true. The website is littered with spelling mistakes and grammatical errors and no actual information about who they are and why you should buy from them. I wouldn't go anywhere near them.

I saw the same advert on Instagram at the same time as shopping for an Arc’teryx alpha SV, I think it said they were down to €40 or so from £630, obviously a scam so rather then have my identity cloned or something of that order I paid £630 for one from Arc’teryx themselves.... I agree if it sounds too good to be true it’s clearly a scam....
