Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Buying ski boots in Turin or Cervinia

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi there.

I am an intermediate skier (reds confidently) looking to buy my first pair of boots. Something comfortable in the flex range of 100-120 (I am 5'8", 12,5st).
I've read some topics regarding boot fitting and am willing to spend some extra money for the service.
However I would also like to try some boots on my own, since I ussually don't have problems with rented boots and have some time to look for.

I will stay for three days in Turin before going to Cervinia. Do you have any recommendations of bootfitters or good shops in one of these places?

Thank you!

If you are coming from Brazil, I would buy in resort. Friend on mine bought from Genzianella Sport (it is right next to the Main cable car station to Plan Maison).

He would recommend them, but it was 10 years ago....

Oh, I forgot to mention. Yes I am comming from Brazil so my only option is to buy in Italy.
Thank you @albob, will take a look at Genzianella Sport. You recommend buying in resort so I can actually make further adjustments if needed?

I read something about Jolly Sport in Turin: ( https://www.jollysport.it ) Does any one know/recommend it?
