Hi!
Anyone out in Lech at the moment? What’s the condition like?
Got some flights booked to fly into Innsbruck for mid Dec. Just trying to decide if we should go to Lech.

There is snow forecast from Monday onwards. I will be there at the weekend hopefully should be more lifts open by then. Not so sure about the mild bit, at the moment its -4 in St Anton and -3 in Lech though it is forecast to be less cold in the next few days. The sun has a lot less effect in December than in March so unlikely to be a slush fest in evidence.

@Snowy123, Not mild on the forecast i've seen, it's going to get better week on week now not worse, and it looks great already, so go is my recommendation for what its worth.....i'm in Arlberg 27th onwards and am only thinking positive things, its started well.

Inversion is forecast for this week: Warm on top, cooler in the lower valleys.
Not so good for Arlberg...
St.Anton has more snow than Lech currently.
But next week looks promising

Thanks, everyone. I probably used the wrong description when I wrote “mild”, I meant relatively warm for skiing eg above 0C.  Fingers crossed new snow coming! Not booked yet but there seems to be plenty of hotel availability.

You need to pay more attention in the mountains...
Full moons......sounds from the cows ...and smell in the air.......then comes the snow !
