Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Having recently moved to Europe (Spain) from Canada I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on some good online stores that sell skis. The one's I'm familiar with are all out of North America so naturally shipping to Europe does not make sense. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Bluetomato definitely worth a look. Based in Austria but do free delivery around Europe. I get most of my equipment there.

Based in Spain, only one sensible option - and it's run by Brits - though more biased towards off piste and touring - been around a very long time and numerous mates have bought from them.

Don’t buy from Snowinn, Trekinn etc (under the Tradeinn umbrella) if you want it soon. I’ve bought stuff that it says are available on their website, then been kept for ages while they check their warehouse or some other excuse, and in the end it was not available.

I regularly buy stuff from Sport Conrad, Sport Bittl, and Berg Freunde in Germany. Generally had good experience with eBay if you do the usual due diligence on seller reviews.

Last few years I've been buying from glisshop and ekosport (both French-based but wit co.uk, English language, GBP websites) - large range, I haven't found anything cheaper and service has been good.

Bought from bergfruende and ekosport and glisshop. All fine except glisshop who gave shoddy service when item didn't turn up. Will never buy from them again. I do find bergfreunde especially good

Bergfreunde offer top class service and very nice to deal with if you have a problem. Bought on 2 occasions from them in last few weeks and both arrived within 5 days .
