Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Chalet for X 8 adults in 2020. France or Austria possibly Switzerland.
We are two professional families with adult kids (wondering when they will start paying for their own skiing!) Looking for a catered chalet with, ideally, at least two double bedrooms with ensuite for the parents and twin bed set up for X 4 sisters. Would prefer high level resort with mix of intermediate and advanced skiing. Not Chamonix, Argentiere or Les Houces - thanks. Used to live there so fancy somewhere different. Prefer close to slopes (don't want to drive or shuttle bus particularly). Girls want jacuzzi and sauna but boys not to fussed and we are paying. Currently cannot do w/b 24th Jan. Not looking for Christmas or New Year and would prefer pre Easter dates. We would consider making up numbers in a larger chalet with more of an adult audience bias. Not looking for a ski esprit experience! Open to proposals.

@Oxymoronracing
, don't know if the configuration would work but have a look at project ski in Val disere and other resorts. They do have a shuttle but is arranged around what you want and you phone the driver from apres for your ride back.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

8 sounds small for catered?
How is a company going to make a profit from that and be competitve

I would wholeheartedly recommend Chalet Brio in Morillon - there is a 5 min shuttle to the lifts to be fair, but the chalet is superb

It take more than 8 so you'll be in with other guests
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Ski Amis have smaller catered chalets - I stayed in one a few years ago as part of a group of 8, and was had it just for our group. It had a hot tub and sauna. In lower part of Les Menuires, but very very close to a chair lift, and could ski right back to it.
Very good value for money - though not high-end
