Poster: A snowHead

We stayed in a chalet in Meribel in the Rond Point area last year. This was right next to the Doron piste and allowed us to take the Adret lift up the valley, rather than having to go down to Meribel centre/Chaudanne/Rhodos/Saulire etc lifts. The one day we did go to the centre to get first lift up, the wait was about an hour, it was so busy. The lift we were next to had no queue and meant no wasted time in the morning, straight out on to the slopes.
We want to go back to Meribel this year and were looking for accommodation in exactly the same place. However there are 5 single guys on this trip, and there are no chalets available that caters for an odd number of people in this area that I could find. We don't need to be in a chalet, happy to go for a hotel/apartments etc. but the pre-requisites are that (1) we each need a bed, single is fine (2) we want to be near a piste/lift that we can basically walk to in a few minutes and that allows us to bypass the main lifts at the bottom.
Does anyone have any suggestions? For example, chalet/hotel/apartments near the Morel lift or something similar?
Some googling tonight hasn't yielded many results.

@karansaraf, Alpine seems to be a good search keyword to use for this one.
Suggest start with Alpine Answers. Their advanced search facility allows you to zone in on chalets in particular ski villages, as well as size and other characteristics, including exclusive or shared use, catered or s/c, etc. They’re an agent rather than a TO.
Alpine Action is a specialist TO with chalets that might suit your needs.
Larger TO Alpine Elements also has some. For example, I think Nathalie is walkable to Morel chair. It also has a single room, though they tend to get booked early.
Maybe post a specific wanted notice on SnowHeads Chalets and Apartments forum? Operators and private owners tend to scan that.
If you still struggle, would you be open to adding say 1 or 3 people to your group? An even number would open up so many more options. Again SnowHeads could help, on the Solo Skiers v Groups forum.
Hope that helps. Good luck.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks for the tips! Alpine Elements is the one we're looking at and they don't have anything, but I will certainly check out your other suggestions!

Contact Alpine Answers. We haven't booked with them, but had some back and forth a couple of years ago and they are pretty switched on. The girl I was speaking to used to manage the Rond Point, so definitely had local knowledge. Also, not sure of the budget but look at places with a minibus. The place we go to isn't massively expensive but will take you wherever you want to be dropped off in the morning.
