Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski lesson in La Tania

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi all.

We are heading to La Tania in February, the wife is after a refresher lesson for a couple of hours, can anyone with local knowledge help with this please? She doesn’t need a set so it’s just a morning of sharpening up before she is good to go.

Any help would be welcome

Thanks

Steve

We used Sweet Snowsports in January this year. We had two afternoons in a private lesson with Andy.

Can’t rate him/them highly enough.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

In addition to Sweet, take a look at Ski Marmalade. If you were after group lessons I'd recommend Oxygene.

Maison Sport and Ski Bro also have a lot of private instructors together with reviews that should allow your wife to find someone who meets her requirements. I prefer this to booking a random instructor through a ski school as the profile and reviews I think give a better idea about what you're getting, plus its cheaper. I found a larger choice of private instructors when I put Courchevel in as the location rather than La Tania, and of course any instructor working in one will also work in the other.

+1 on this. Our girls had a week's lessons with Andy at Sweet and he was great. Would definitely recommend them!
