Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Would definitely advise you to avoid Noleggio Sci Cervinia 2001. We had some seriously dodgy kit - one of my skis, the brake arms would not come down, so it would go flying if it came off after a fall. My friend's ski randomly had a brake arm come down even when the boot was clipped in, so he had to change it. They didn't speak much English in the shop and it was difficult to explain the problems.

We only went there as it was recommended by (and close to) our hotel. I think it was fairly cheap, but would definitely pay more for better kit now.

@FrediKanoute @notnats
Ive used both of their shops, the main reasons they were reasonable priced and the closest to the ski lifts ( 10-20 metres) .I always rent the basic skis and never had an issue

The shop near lift Plan-Masion ( Genzialla Sport ) is the larger shop and although they didnt have ski lockers they allowed you to store your ski's etc over night ,which is very handy as the lifts are up a hill from the main street

The shop at lifts Cretaz (Noleggio Cretaz) was quite small and friendly ,My hotel was just round the corner so i didnt ask about over night storage

Thanks for the intel. Have booked from the Genzianella store. Got a 10% discount off standard rates and you only have to pay a 10% deposit with the balance paid on pick up.

We have an apartment just up the hill from the store so this is perfect!

The only thing to watch out for and this goes for most Hire shops, they shut for a few hours in the afternoon so watch you dont get caught out returning your equipment and flight times etc
