I have a recently acquired Burton shell jacket which zips up on the right side. This is normally the women's side, is it not? Not had a jacket with this before and it's a bit like trying to write with the wrong hand, feels odd.
The shop tags label says it's mens although there is nothing on the actual jacket to indicate gender. The sizing would suggest mens too.
Do Burton do that as a matter of course? Anyone with a Burton mens jacket noticed that - hold with left hand and zip up with right hand?

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

The North Face have a habbit of doing this too, to the point I have a more or less unworn TNF fleece because the mental effort of trying to zip it up when drunk is too much It's like trying to write with the wrong hand.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

When I was surfing, some clown gave me a wetsuit with the zip on the wrong side - it was round the back

I bought a Spyder fleece as a midlayer last year with the zip the "wrong" way round, first time I've seen this, it's surprising how irritating it is but the ability to unzip the jacket and midlayer to cool off rather than have the faff of removing/replacing layers is great.
