Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Sucker for a gadget, and for skiing well take my money....

Carv digital ski coach, has this been covered before? Useful, Super or cue accident city?

(Ive been skiing annually with my daughter 10+ years now, consider myself an interidiot, happily ski all runs at a leisurely pace - with speed where openness and conditions allow..)

Yep, forum search is your friend. Mixed views is probably a good summary.

We've just bought a set each (due to arrive in Dec).

Aidan and I both spend a lot of time skiing by ourselves so were easily persuaded by all we read and watched that these would be a useful gadget to have.
We'll be out in Austria by mid-Jan so I'll try and post some feedback.

Friend of mine works for them. Says the current iteration is a much better product than it used to be and genuinely does work. He's a very good skier and I have no reason to doubt what he says.

looks like it could make fridge skiing a bit more meaningful, but I think Mrs endo may kill me if one arrived! I do like a good gadget and graphs though..

Hopefully this years software update will improve things, I’ll let you know next week.
I gave up using them last year, after they kept telling to put more weight on the outside ski, despite the fact I was turning on one leg each turn.

Just read in the FAQ's that it's no good for fridge skiing due to lack of decent gps signal. Mrs endo will be pleased.

I can speak from personal experience that Carv is totally worthless in a fridge; at least that is true of the Hemel Snowcentre. It probably depends on the material the building is made from, but I would imagine they are all fairly similar.

My findings are that there are mixed reviews spread on internet pending more to "not worth it". If they were genuinely goodI would get them.

I found a bit surprising the carv team does not engage here.

Drop us a note on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/getCarv/ or our website, as we monitor those daily.
For reviews, you can check out https://getcarv.com/reviews to see people's experience of the latest iteration (Fall-Line did a pretty full-on review here: https://www.fall-line.co.uk/tried-tested-carv-the-digital-ski-coach/) (Expert Reviews did a review here: https://www.expertreviews.co.uk/fitness-equipment/1411217/carv-review)

We're going to implement a TrustPilot style reviews system this year so people can see comments from verified users and we'll also get Carv out to a number of youtube reviewers so you can see their opinions.

Let us know if you've got any questions.

I asked on facebook under your outside ski angle post, but never got a reply.
"Have you updated the app this year, so that it doesn't keep telling you to put more weight on the outside ski when doing the drills, even if you're skiing on the outside ski only?"
Haven't bothered using my CARV yet this year, but wouldn't mind doing some of the drills if the app has been updated.
