There is lots of motorcycle clothing that's heated. I suspect that a heated vest to go under your jacket would be cheaper & more efficient.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@Snowbam, why do you want a heated jacket? It rarely gets that cold in Europe... I don't think I've even met an American skier who has one.
You don't want a 47C interior, you'll get heat stroke.
It looks crap.
They can't spell.
Truly, no, that looks like a dreadful idea.

Well it seems the jacket has 3 temperature levels and you can turn it off anytime. So I don’t have to use 47C, can set it for the low level just to stay warm.
On the lift when it’s windy can be great to keep your muscles warm.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I can't think of anything I'd want less. Back in the day of old fashioned lifts I'd sometimes get a bit nesh on a chairlift, but these days they mostly have heated seats and covers. I rarely feel cold whilst skiing, and it's nothing a thermal base layer and decent jacket can't fix.

@Snowbam, No, really, just not necessary. Are you involved somehow?
And at £117? Absolute Gash. Looks crap as well.
My Wife's heated glove liners were more expensive.

I run fairly cold and almost invariably wear an insulated jacket, but I wouldn't want one of those either. Layering is the answer.
I carry a survival blanket against the risk of a chairlift breakdown.

I've found insulating my jacket with spam keeps me nice and warm.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

"I found this one that looks cool" — that's a sure giveaway. "Cool" that jacket is not for sure.
