Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Small Snowboard Makers?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi gang. I was looking to pickup a new snowboard deck this summer after having a bunch of smoking snowboards made in Lake Tahoe area for years. They are slowing down production so curious other good brands of small company hand made snowboards anyone likes that are all mountain but also powder first focused : hehe. Not trying to hate on the big producers but love small makers and folks trying new forms of boards.

Thanks,
NachoPow

A small snowboard would be about the size of a skateboard, I guess.

Being sarcastic, burton riglet comes in a 90cm

Being helpful, Stranda make some real nice looking boards. Been resisting throwing the cash down on a tree surfer split for months, and probably will give in before my season starts. There’s a shop near me with a few in stock and they look great, and I know a couple of people who ride them and say good things about them.

Maybe Weston for a smaller niche brand. I’ve a backwoods which is great for on and off piste and I don’t think I’ve seen another anywhere in the alps. Would love to give their Japow a go too

Not exactly a small company but amplid worth a look too for a happy medium ish sized brand. Again, I own one (singular) and they’re definitely not as common as capita/ burton/ k2 and the rest. Plus the singular at least is fantastic.
