Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Buying tyres in France

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi Folks

I’m in France at the moment and it looks like I need to buy a couple of tyres before I drive home as I have a puncture that can’t be repaired.

Does anybody know if there is a French equivalent of blackcircles.com, where I can order a couple and have them delivered to a local garage for fitting?

Thanks.

@Matt1959, going to google.fr and entering pneus france, there do seem to be some sites, for example https://www.allopneus.com/

Don't treat this as a recommendation as I haven't used them. Good luck!

In answer to davidof & kosmoz - because I want 2 x Michelin Crossclimates and the local garage doesn't stock them and won't order them. In the UK blackcircles is not complicated at all. Choose tyres, choose fitting garage, pick fitting date & that's it.

@Matt1959, I have used 123pneus. The UK sister company of it is mytyres.co.uk, which I have also used.

@Matt1959, There is a feu vert opposite the CORA at Amphion. Looks like you can order on line https://www.feuvert.fr/trouver-un-pneu/michelin-pneu-4-saisons-michelin-195-65r15-95v-crossclimate--xl/p434961.html

@Matt1959, just order them on black circles and they’ll deliver to France I’d have thought?

Thanks all. The sites I have looked at won’t accept UK addresses for the ‘bill to’ so I’ve sorted out an order with another garage.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

All the big tie places are normally pretty good. Metifiot. Feu Vert. Point S. If anyone needs tires in the future. But France is not like the uk where they seem to get stuff overnight.
