Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Pistetopowder are a recognised guiding outfit. Individual guides can be hired from the Arlberg ski school. Not heard of half days guiding, don't
think it's practical, usual full days. Depends what your looking for. stanton and others can give better and more detailed advice if he be aroused from his Summer slumbers.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

At the risk of starting a very silly and boring argument, I believe St Anton is one of the resorts where the SCGB are "organising" group guiding (or whatever it is called but this time with qualified guides) no idea if it is for members only or whether is any good.

@davidthornton, have done half day guiding before elsewhere like kitz etc without too much bother, to be honest some of the guys i ski with would struggle with a full day as they aren't fit enough.

@munich_irish, wont be getting involved with SGGB not much time for that set up, have met a few over the years...... not all, but quite a few a clueless......

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Try hooking up with the Ski Club of Gt Britain? They offer very reasonable prices for taking groups with a guide. They are returning to St Anton next season, after a long absence...

SCGB have had instructor led guiding in St A for the past couple of seasons, so not really "returning" this coming season...

Ooh, didn't realise that. That's good news... I repped there in the last 2 seasons, before the ban...
