ok i know this place. ive hiked and swam in lake solina in the summer. Ive not skied there yet but will do eventually. this season they had plenty of snow ive been told. My wifes from Krosno

@Kuba, ah yes. weve been back to Zakopane twice since then. This Feb we toured in to the Kondratova valley and did some touring passing through the murowaniec hut.
does the Bieszczady mountains have snow cover every year or at least enough to ski on?

@Mother hucker, Bieszczady/Beskids these days can be moody due to the climate changes. Tatras usually offer better snow cover but if you based in Krosno try Cergowa- great tree skiing when snow conditions are right.

@Mike Pow, sorry:P That's a hill called Szyndzielnia about 10 mins drive from my home. That line gathers snow quickly so good option if there is not enough snow in the forrest:)
