Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Early booking - Dolomites

Just back from Selva val Gardena in the Dolomites and it was wonderful. A huge ski area - we did the Sella Ronda. We very rarely go back to the same place twice (this goes for ski and beach holidays), but we would like to go back. Is it ok to book now for next year, or should I wait for the snow reports?

jb1970, I wouldn't worry about snow reports for the Sella Ronda. They're a bit hit and miss as far as natural snow is concerned so they've put in heaps of canon, apparently they can open 90% of the pistes with the man made stuff.

As long as its cold enough you're OK

jb1970, Fantastic area to ski in isn't it? Did you do the hidden valley?

We didn't do the hidden valley. My other half went to Cortina for the day, I didn't go as I thought there was far too much to ski without going anywhere else. We skied to St Cristina and all over. We did the Sella Ronda on the last day. We are definitely going back next year.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

jb1970, Didi you find somewhere nice to stay? We're thinking of heading that way for a big family party next season.

jb1970, Well put it on the list of things to do next year - good reason in it'self to go back. Did you get to Arabba? good place to use as a base unless you want wild night life of course.

Must put this on my list. Anyone know of any smaller quality chalet operators that do this area?
