Poster: A snowHead

Looking for recommendation for a setup like inside out skiing at either tamworth or chill factor for a young family new to skiing (1 week holiday) . Also consider the dry slope in stoke on trent.
Thanks again.

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

@WASHOUT, I think you will find the Stoke ski slope much cheeper than the fridge and the club will provide a long term, ie years, development programme

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Indepthsnowsports do lessons/clinics at chillfactore. I found the website lacking info but a text to the contact number sorted out all I wanted - I do hope the site's been updated.
Anyway, excellent instruction (& very good vfm) will be using them again meself

Just a quick recommendation for John at the MK fridge today. Booked a 1hr private for me and the kids while my partner was on a snowboard course.
We actually had him this time last year for their very first time on snow and he was just as good today. Putting them at ease and quickly figuring out how to motivate them. My 8yr old boy kept trying to go higher but wasn’t doing his turns properly, almost going straight so he said if you don’t turn we don’t go higher. Well Flynn turned into an across the slope turn monster then

Cut off my post
He also managed to motivate my 12 year and give her some confidence back and get her going.
Thought a name would be good as otherwise it’s pot luck. Apparently my partners snowboard guy was disinterested. In addition the unknown ski instructor who thought it would be funny to scare my daughter when she was waiting at the bottom of the slope for John to join us by charging at her before dramatically stopping was a complete ****. She’s never seen you before that and she’s 12 while you a full grown (physically not mentally) man twice her size.

If there’s more than 1 John there at MK fridge, then I think my age (mid forties) and he has a son about 9 who races. Again highly recommend him.

I can really recommend James Lockerbie and Sammy Goodlass from Pulse Snowsports based out of Chill Factore.. most group classes tend to be aimed at Intermediate+ as the CFe do offer good classes for beginner-intermediate. However, they also offer private lessons. They are quite technical and give lots of feedback as well as giving you your videos and an action plan. They are both good fun and lessons have a good energy!

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.
