Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Classic spring skiing; hard first thing, hero snow once warmed up, corn/slush later. Slopes empty. A few runs closed. Off piste only for masochists. Freeze/thaw forecast for the next week.

Aaahhhh that depends where you go

Though have to say was a very long hike to get a few turns.

This was two valleys down from Puy below the Col de Val Haute up from Champcella

60cm of new snow. Unfortunately a huge crowd of people arrived to do some sort of off piste test. Ski patrol? So what would normally take 2-3 days to get tracked out was by lunchtime Sad

The good news is the pistes are in superb condition and looks like they will be for the next 10 days. No one here now Smile

Sorry I was part of that bunch. Skied a bit in the morning to warm up the legs, test in the afternoon.
Failed, but the pass rate was only 2% .
So something strange going on as the pass mark was 12 out of 20 and of the 130 of us, most could ski quite well!

@Idris, that's quite ironic as recently I've seen pisteurs having a few issues with the SerreMent of recent days Laughing
